The Ecolibrium Association is a non-profit organization, recognized as being of public interest, dedicated to environmental regeneration and human development.

We take care of people and nature, in balance

We were born in Nova Friburgo, in the mountain region of Rio de Janeiro, but we already connect people, communities, and partners from different parts of the world. We are a movement of transformation that believes every action — planting a tree, teaching a child, supporting a family — has the power to create lasting waves of change.

Our actions restore balance between humanity and nature

We live in a time of social and environmental urgencies. Ecolibrium emerges as a response to this reality: a space where regenerating the environment also means regenerating lives.

We believe there is no healthy future without balance

That is why our purpose is both simple and profound: to transform the way we care for the earth and for people, fostering a continuous cycle of learning, solidarity, and hope.

Here, permaculture inspires every action, guiding us in building solutions that honor the rhythms of nature and the dignity of people.

Education, regeneration, and social inclusion

Our work is organized into complementary areas that strengthen one another:

Currently under construction, the 1,200 m² multifunctional complex is being built with sustainable bioconstruction techniques. It will serve as a living classroom, restaurant, lodging, and community space. Volunteers, students, and local communities learn together, building and living in harmony with nature.

Ecolibrium Space

An educational program in Rio de Janeiro that has already supported dozens of young people in vulnerable situations, offering tutoring, cultural activities, internships, and exchange opportunities with international volunteers.

Mais Caminhos

An initiative to restore degraded areas of the Atlantic Forest through productive agroforestry. We bring together local farmers in regenerative production networks, combining shade-grown coffee with native species, ensuring both income and biodiversity.

RegenerAção Project

We support individual journeys, such as those of Davi and Tiago, who received guidance to study, work, and build a future with dignity.

At Ecolibrium, we believe that learning means living the experience. That is why each project is built collaboratively, bringing together volunteers, farmers, students, and educators.

We apply bioconstruction techniques, agroforestry, and permaculture principles to create sustainable solutions that serve as examples for both the present and the future.

Sustainability applied with people and for people

While we build eco-friendly houses, we also teach the values of cooperation. While we restore forests, we strengthen local economies. Our difference lies in uniting theory and practice: nature becomes the classroom, and the community, an essential part of the transformation.
